Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW)

  • 1 Day Course 

  • Aimed at lower risk workplaces

  • Certificate provided upon completion

  • This counts as Day 1 of the First Aid at Work (FAW) course - we often combine Day 1 of both courses so you can place more employees on this course and then the requisite number for the full FAW course - costing you less money and less abstraction from your business.

Subjects Covered 

• Roles and responsibilities as a First Aider

• Incident assessment 

• Bandaging

• Primary Survey, including administering Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)

• Correct use of a Defib 

• Recovery Position and identification of which position best suits the situation

• Choking (mild / severe) 

• Burns

• Dealing with external Bleeds

• Dealing with Seizures

• Shock

Venue

We complete the courses at your place of work and can use this to make the practical aspect of the training as realistic as possible. If you don't have the space we can provide a venue at an additional cost. 

Times

We are flexible with the timing and days of the week to run our courses at times convenient for your company so you can keep running business in business hours and complete training in the more quiet times. Evenings/weekends are no problem for us.
